It all started with Jack and Diane—yes, two American kids growing up in the heartland! Before long, my little herd began to grow. What started with a few goats and calf hutches has expanded into barns, green pastures, and even a dedicated milk shack that is lovingly called The Teat Tavern.
As my herd grew, I wanted to find a way to make the farm more sustainable while sharing something special with others. That's when I discovered soapmaking.

Like many people, I had never given much thought to soap. It was simply something I grabbed from the grocery store. But once I made my first batch of goat milk soap using fresh milk from my own goats, I realized just how different handcrafted soap could be. It was rich, creamy, and left my skin feeling wonderful.
I became fascinated with creating soaps that weren't just beautiful, but also long-lasting and made with quality ingredients. After a great deal of research and countless batches, I developed recipes that I'm proud to share with my customers.
The compliment I hear most often is that my goat milk soap lasts a long time and doesn't melt away like many commercial bars. That makes me smile every time because it's exactly what I hoped to create.
Today, I handcraft my products in small batches right here at Little Ditty Farm, using thoughtfully chosen ingredients and, in my goat milk products, fresh milk from my own herd. I hope you'll give them a try and discover why so many customers have made them part of their daily routine.

My farming journey began years ago with a small flock of backyard chickens. If you know anything about chicken math, you know exactly what happened next! Six chickens quickly became twenty...then thirty...and honestly, I've long since lost count.

From Farm to Finished Bar
Every product at Little Ditty Farm begins with the animals I care for every day. I feed the herd, milk the goats, and use that fresh milk to create handcrafted soaps and bath products in small batches right here on the farm.
Each batch is carefully mixed, poured, and cured for at least four weeks before I hand-cut, bevel, plane, inspect, and label every bar myself.
From caring for the goats to packaging your order, every step is done by my own hands with quality, kindness, and pride.
My goats are more than livestock—they're part of my family. Every one has its own personality, and caring for them is my favorite part of farm life. They're the inspiration behind everything I create, and their fresh milk is at the heart of every bar of soap I make.
